Salvation Army Church

The Salvation Army Church sits on a slight rise overlooking the town station. During the Festival it is the main venue for our Poetry programme, most of which takes place here.

For Access: Cross the pedestrian bridge, turn to your right and carefully walk up the side of the road until you are opposite a small lane which leads steeply up to the church. Cross the busy road very carefully. In the lane there are a few steps up to the church, or alternatively you can walk further up the lane to a sloping path into the church (for alternative flat access contact Words in Watchet for information).

During the Festival members of the church provided hot drinks and delicious cake, soup and rolls for patrons, for a donation.

Toilets are available (flat access within church.)
